West brom squad is massive. They could cope without a 3/4 players. We can't unfortunately. We couldn't even fill our subs bench before covid hit us.

Surely each case must be judged on its merits, we have been hand cuffed for some time following ffp rules, so couldn't have a bigger squad if we wanted to, if I've got that wrong I apologise

QPR close Heston training ground because of Covid

QPR have closed their Heston academy training base for a week in a bid to limit the spread of Covid-19 which has hit the club.

Rangers’ Championship clash with Sheffield United was postponed on Monday after a number of players and staff tested positive and Saturday’s match against Swansea looks increasingly likely to be called off.

QPR boss predicts mandatory vaccinations for players

QPR boss Mark Warburton believes it is only a matter of time before Covid-19 vaccinations become mandatory for all players.

Warburton acknowledged there is still a reticence from many in football circles to be vaccinated but said he can see both the Premier League and the EFL taking a stronger stance against players who are not jabbed if there continues to be more matches called off.

“The subject in life now will be the vaccinated and the non-vaccinated,” Warburton said.

The thing is even if you are jabbed 3 times you can still get it and spread it. The jabs are to stop you getting ill. Or is that wrong ?

Agree with this as a real fear but what about the fear our Team are all about to drop down Dead, they are un jabbed it would seem so will face the full force of this Pandemic, director cuts to our boys Chilling on the PlayStation eating a Bacon Sandwich and sipping on a Martini, you couldn't buy it.

Warburton is absolutely right saying it should be mandatory (if that can be legally enforced - have my doubts, as there will be no mention of this in player contracts). Otherwise clubs are in an impossible position of being held accountable yet they can't force their dumb as anything players to get jabbed. I wd have thought if we have 10 players isolating the league can hardly punish us - but Warbs going on the record about the existing injuries we had is not going to help, as some clubs will no doubt seek to claim that we used Covid as an excuse to cancel due to injuries (which I don't for one minute think we would be foolish enough to have done after our record ever fine from the same governing body). Hope we have asked players to take videos of themselves testing positive so we can prove it.

As for posters who think its all a big joke: over 140,000 Britons have died from Covid. How would they feel if that included a member of their family? Totally get that footballers are fit and 99% of them will shake it off like mild flu, but its all the other people they will come into contact with who are being put at risk by their negligence. And that is unbelievably selfish.

Problem is Boris has completely buggered up the Covid response. Speaking to clients in New Zealand the other week and their area had been put in complete lockdown as someone had tested positive. No messing around from day one and as such tiny numbers. When it comes up in an area they stamp it out then reopen. That has led to their expectation of how it will be managed going forwards.

The Boris response has led to it running rampant. Worse than that though it has led to an attitude by many that it doesn't matter and people shouldn't be compelled to take any responsibility or do anything they don't fancy. The horrors of having to wear a mask wandering around Sainsburys for instance ...

I am fortunate to have the constitution of an ox (famous last words) but not everyone does and I personally have no problem with masks, social distancing or anything else to protect others and genuinely don't get why other people seem to take umbrage at taking simple precautions.

Having to have a jab, to protect people that have had two Jabs and a booster, locking down a whole area because someone has tested positive and will in all probability not even be unwell in any way shape or form, now that ain't funny or a Joke!

Wonder if game would've gone ahead on Saturday at 3pm if it hadn't have been shunted to the Monday night? Little details like that need assessing if the League start getting shirty with us, particularly given they love rinsing us for money via fines.

This thing is going to be around for a long time I fear, I personally will take every precaution possible to be able to lead a normal as life as possible, I also seem to be blessed in the fact that I rarely pick up bugs or anything, but there are plenty of people who are susceptible to getting sick at the drop of a hat, so in the process of protecting myself I would hope to protect others, I would also respect the choices of those that choose to not get any vaccines, I don't totally understand why they wouldn't, but I strongly believe in the right of every individual to make their own choice, and I hope in the long run that these choices they make are not detrimental to their well being and the well being of their families and loved ones, only time will tell on that I guess, I only hope that people look at all the facts which ever way that leads them , and not just taking an anti establishment/ anti everything point of view

I would also advise people to look deeply into facts and to research across many resources in doing so, there are always two sides and debate in all things, if żou only listen to one narrative, which never others room for learned Scientists and Medical people of the highest level to share opinions that don't agree with said narrative, well that's your choice to make.

Oh my god, conspiracy theory alert. Was talking to a doctor the other night, virtually all the people he says he has to treat in hospital now are anti-vaxers. Many of them regretful that they had been so dumb. There aren't two sides to this: people who think covid is not real or not a risk are just plain dumb. Its not one of those nice fluffy subjects where two people can have different but perfectly valid opinions. Covid kills, slightly despair of anyone who hasn't grasped that yet.
