Wonder if he's speaking with a West country accent now ?
Hope he's nailed it better than his French one

Ball 46 tonight and we could give him a warm welcome back to Loftus Road in the 3rd round of the FA cup!

Fair do's.... what goes on in the tunnel needs to stay in the tunnel. Jury clearly understands the basic protocols of football, plus a Jerman trying to get an English man done in an English court is completely out of order. Barton may well be a pillock but he's an English pillock - we can't lose sight of that.

Football has saved Joey Barton, without it he would be doing a long stretch in the shovel for sure, that temper of his would have put him there

I wonder now the legal business is out of the way if the League or FA will step in with their own sanctions? There would be a far lower test applied and they could find that on balance of probability he was responsible for assaulting a fellow manager and ban him or whatever. Maybe they already punished him, I can't remember but I'd suspect FA would have opted to do sweet FA and defer to the police/courts in the first instance.

Isnt being manager of Bristol Rovers punishment enough?

With the noise around this case and a recent incident with his wife he'll never manage above L1. But he's still happy to work at the lower levels for very little pay I suspect.

Isn't actually being Joey Barton punishment enough?
