  • Is McIntyre right to be sceptical?

Taken from the BBC journalists Twitter Page:

like I said earlier: waiting to read the small print. Smart PR move though and no doubt the 'Mittals' are becoming more influencial

Seems like he thinks this is just a PR move rather than a serious takeover/step down.

To be fair, and this is going to surprise many.

    He could be right.

I want to see how much the Mittal family have increased their stake by..

That is absent in the statement.

This club are very clever at PR and whilst I'm not doubting Flavio stepping down, we need to know just exactly how much The Mittal family now own in the club

The proof is in the pudding and all that.

Anything is possible at QPR. I wouldn't be surprised if this was smoke and mirrors. If though this unites the fanbase and we become the cliched 12th man and results improve then great. But if this is just a way of stopping the protests then even with them in charge if the results don't improve the fans will just attack them. Especially if they don't do anything about it.

      Wait and see I guess.

have to agree with you egham
Dyslexic so please don't feel the need to correct my spelling mistakes as I really don't give a **** and before you say use spell checker if it is spelt right / wright but not in context spell check is useless

True but he knows that the fans love him and hate Briatore and that they are turning away in their 000s. He'll know that saying the right thing and the right time (even if it's not true) will unite the fanbase. I hope McIntyre is wrong and I hope I am wrong. As I've said and many others will say the same we will just have to wait and see.

The moment they come out and say

The Mittals own 40 or 50% than I will be happy.

Never know, that part might be still under negotiation??

Still think its good news though, because Flavio has said he is stepping down and in my opinion, that was a big problem out of the way

Hate to bring it up again but you have to question why Paladini would be kept on, someone tell me what does he offer?

Whilst Paladini remains he is Briatore's eyes and ears IMO so David McIntrye could be right.

You are asking the wrong person

The New CEO needs to be asked that question.

It goes without saying that, they must think he is doing a good job.

Otherwise the first moves would be to release him, not give him a new title.

                    Thats just an observation

This is why I am sceptical because a man with no eyes can see he is not.

With all due respect you and I are on the outside.

                        We can only give opinions.

The new CEO had been around for a few months now and he is entitled to come to a different judgement to you
