Yes. Devil really does work for idle hands and I've been fannying about with league tables again, having a look at them since we joined Championship in 2015.
This time I've just compared our points/position after 11 games to our final position and tally.
Reminder: Today we are Played 11, points 18, position 6th
2020/21
p11, pts 13, pos 18th ----- p46, pts 68, pos 9th
2019/20
p11, pts 19, pos 9th ----- p46, pts 58, pos 13th
2018/19
p11, pts 13, pos 17th ---- p46, pts 51, pos 19th
2017/18
p11, pts 13, pos 16th ---- p46, pts56, pos 16th
2016/17
p11, pts 15, pos 13th ---- p46, pts53, pos 18th
2015/16
p11, pts 15, pos 11th ---- p46, pts 60, pos 12th
Ave position: 14th ---- Ave position: 14th
What does it all mean? Lord knows! The average sort of suggests that we stay where we were, obviously this would be great to maintain this season ie finish 6th. However, we did rather slump in 16/17 and 19/20 but hugely rallied in 20/21. Anything can happen (and probably will).
