The statement on the official site says: "The Board of Directors of QPR Holdings Ltd today announces Flavio Briatore has decided to step down as Chairman with immediate effect. The Board has appointed Ishan Saksena as the new Chairman." Then later on it says, "Gianni Paladini will resume the role of Chairman of Queens Park Rangers Football Club". I must confess to being a bit confused, can someone (Egham perhaps) please explain? Thank you!

Thanks, I understand now. So I assume GP has been "promoted" out of the DoF role - though it's not really clear (to me) if he is still doing that job too.Check out www.wearetherangersboys.com for the Godfather's latest match previews, reports and articles.

Thanks egham brilliant.
Worried about the financial situation still, tax bill being paid by selling players etc, not good.
Will there now be some serious re-building and re-financing.
Will there be anything on players, i suppose some more loanees may come in. Do you know anything on this. If we could get Big Danny in that would be great.
When is Dowie coming.
Once again thanks for the news, brilliant

2. gainni had agreed a deal to sign ****tu for 300k then flav blocked it.
3 routledge was sold to pay the tax bill, against amits best wishes that was the final straw.
4. warnock has said no so the last i heard dowie in charge till the end of the season.
5. finally flav and amit have despanded there company that loaned the money to the club.
happy days are truely here now
4.Shame about Warnock, but I think Dowie can organise the QPR defence again and get enough wins from the remaining games to keep QPR up.
However, I do agee that Curbishley is free now, so if the plan is for him to be given the job in the Summer, why the delay?
5 - so what has happened to the £10M loan that needs to be paid up in full soon. Is Mittal going to pay it and wipe the slate clean? It costs QPR about £800k a year in interest payments.
