What they did do and did well, was let us go to them and hit us on the break.

Oh and just to be picky, Dykes came on for Chair not Austin and Barbet scored after Austins fierce shot was charged down.

Maybe too many sherry's at half time?

Anyway a very good and satisfying win so sherry's all round. [

I thought it was Barbet who had the fierce drive ?
As for pressing high, how comes first half we had difficulty getting out of our half, was very pleased with 0-0 at H/T

The point on Dykes was that he gave Coventry more to think about than Austin who was very poor, my memory is crap.
Yes it was Barbet's fierce drive

Same with Millwall, Barnsley & Boro

First game attended this season for me, I thought Coventry looked good and were a bit unlucky early doors, but thought we were generally OK, if not spectacular. Very happy to leave with all 3 points, a copy of 'a kick up the r's' and some pretty good grilled chicken.

I think the slow start was the result of the work rate of Cov early on. Also our team tacitcs seemed starnge with Willock, Chair and Johanson not creating or playing with an understanding and it seemd that Dom Ball was left as the creative and defencive mid. A lot of our play was coming down the right as it seemed that on the left side the team were "nursing" mcullam into the game. (Their right back had a good game). But as Romford stated in the end Cov's team changes and puff went. We came into the game more and got the goals. Another point is the energy and desire from Barbet showing for his goal, Good on him.

One's opinion of the atmosphere depends on where you're sat in the stadium. I'm sure those in R block thought it was a fantastic raucous atmosphere but those in B block probably found it a but subdued?

Atmosphere in r block was good but I can understand if people in other parts of the ground felt it was a bit subdued at times. Second the ground felt a lot noisier. First half there were a few moments where you felt the crowd started to get a bit impatient as we didn't seem to get going at all in the first 45.

Spot on I sit in B block, Tuesday against Oxford with nearly 7000 less fans the atmosphere was fantastic, same amount of away fans at both games.
