I know we can easily say only gotta do 90 mins work every few days but other factors not helping with injuries are

i doubt we stayed north after hull away then trip to boro played with 10 men most of a half

I think we travel by train on longer trips and the team coach meets them at station so say boro we of left at 12-1 ish get there 5ish meal game finishes say 10ish with warm down home 2am then early game Saturday

bit more to it than just a game why the computer makes a weds team play 1st Saturday all for tv

I know these are athletes and well fit and conditioned for games but just by looking at making subs early you can see who’s going to do the donkey work this season

I know fans are a bit frustrated that we have sent several players out on loan the very week they are probably most needed and looking at the threadbare squad for Oxford I share the frustration. However, I actually take it as a positive sign (albeit not for our chances in the cup this year): with the window soon closing I suspect the hurry to get people out of the door is to free funds to bring in a striker (and Kelman will prob follow the other way if/ when one comes in). Much as I'd enjoy a mini cup run and to keep the unbeaten run going I hope the fan base resists throwing the proverbial out of the pram if we do a classic Rs and lose a bit humiliatingly to Oxford. The big picture is that the likes of Dickie, Stefan and Charlie looked unfit to me on Saturday and the manager's first, second and third priority is to have as much of the first team available as poss next Sat to hopefully get three points from Coventry.

Which won't be easy by the way: when we beat them at Loftus Rd last season they looked one of the worst teams I'd seen all season and quite good value for the drop but apparently they went on a winning run straight after that which has carried on into this season. God knows how because they hardly looked to have any decent players among them (well, bar a certain left back..).

The club is very well run these days and they know what they're doing. I doubt if a defeat tomorrow night will cause too much concern. It's a rubbish competition and lets focus on promotion.

I know from personal experience that long trips knock the stuffing out of you. Playing to a high standard with disrupted sleep in between must be tough.

As has been said, there may be a reason Players have been sent out on loan, hopefully something on the horizon for the indoor, give us a bit more pep for the season ahead and get them regular game time to improve their game and also value, can't see our Helmsman and his Team making this move as an oversight ( please no) onwards and upwards.

                      Hang on..

                      1. Injuries, we have a lot. Meaning other players are expected to do 90 mins twice a week.
                      2. They still train inbetween.
                      3. They've travelled up and back from the Norf already twice. (Not many do this because its BLAAADY long.

A cup match right now, isn't helpful. I'd expect they are feeling it a bit... HUMAN, not machines ffs. Do you go to work and go, #### me I feel a bit tired....
