  • I hope I'm wrong but...

Why would Curbishley or Coppell or for that matter Warnock come here and potentially damage their careers if we get relegated.

I want to feel positive, I want to believe that we are capable of appointing a manager of this calabre to first save us then promote us but I just can't see it happening. If they join and we still go down they'll have this on their CV for the rest of their careers. Ok, it won't be techincally their fault for our demise but they will have been the man in charge with a 3rd of the season to go who failed to keep us up.

Curbishley and Coppell don't need the hassle. They can't bring anyone decent in because of the transfer window being shut and few decent loans are on the move now. If we stay up they are more likely to come in the summer. Warnock's future isn't exactly safe but whilst he is still being paid he is better off staying at Palace than jumping ship. IMO he has a far better chance of survival with Palace then he does with us. If they get relegated his record won't be tarnished as he can't be blamed for the club's problems. If he relegates us then no doubt the fans will give him stick.

I believe we will stick with Harford till the season it out or we will employ another failed manager with awful credentials.

They would come to us if A) we paid them well and B) we let them run the whole show including giving them a decent amount of cash for players.
But until new owners come in then as you say this won't happen. Thats why we're all desperate that the Mittals know this and are going to take over

Well cash would not be on the table until transfer window opens anyway so that doesn't work, loans only and who wants them..

That is true but we have to wait and see what happens.
