Harrison Dunk reflects on ten years at Cambridge United ahead of testimonial event against QPR


The U’s will celebrate Dunk’s ten-year milestone at the club with a testimonial event tomorrow, with United hosting Championship outfit QPR at the Abbey in a pre-season friendly, 7pm kick-off.

The fixture will be the first match held at the Abbey with spectators in over seven months, with fans last permitted to watch a home match against Colchester United on December 15 before pandemic restrictions were reimposed.

The game has been selected for Dunk, with the defender a lifelong supporter of the R’s.

“It’s a really nice moment for my family to see me playing against QPR, so that will be special,” he said.

“Just to have people smiling and back at the Abbey, that would be amazing, to celebrate the success of last year, the last ten years and being in League One.

“Hopefully there’s a feel good factor around the fans, because there is around the club. Hopefully the people can come with a smile on their faces.”

I literally cannot see how anybody thinks that recast model is even vaguely acceptable. Maybe it's an age or generation thing but there is not a single part of "watch adverts to build up credits" that doesn't sound ludicrous and demented to me??? Once you add in the sharing with friends and stuff I literally have no idea what is going on.
Surely they could/should just have an option to buy credits and skip all the other guff.

We beat Man Utd 4-2 so we should beat crappy cambridge by at least 6 goals.
Doesnt work that way in pre season friendlies, we could easier be beaten.
We dont have the best record against the crap teams

Maybe players who didn´t start on saturday may start today, but i guess most of them don´t play more than 45-60 min and all substitutions will be used. Hopefully Stefan plays.

This is likely. It will be the likes of Dunne McCallum, Kakay starring with a start fir Johansen too.

there is some street parking or use the newmarket road park and ride but theres no ride part its 10 minutes roughly to the ground from there
