There isn’t a lot of great teams in the league next season West Bromwich / Bournemouth / Fulham only teams that I think will finish above us im going for 4th also .
head says we will win the league
Sheffield utd with decent manager in could go well but they need to really change form or could struggle again. Dont see Fulham pulling up trees under Silva. Bournemouth i think will be tough to beat but i fancy our chances now stefan is in. Another striker and i fancy us for top 6 minimum with a shout at top two. the spine of the squad will demand consistency for me Stef,Austin,Jordy Dickie
Bournemouth
QPR
west brom
Sheffield utd
Swansea
Middlesborough
I think the Board would think differently after the money they've put in just to get Charlie and Steff. Anything other than 6th would be failure in my eyes.

The board will realise that Warburton has brought in players wisely and cheaply .we havent paid over a million on anyone this summer ,while the likes of Fulham spend £12 million on one player.
Warburton has turned us into a very decent championship team,a team that will be hard to beat .we will ( as always) have difficulty beating teams we are expected to beat and probably beat the likes of WBA and Fulham .I DONT see failing to finish in the top 6 as failure at all,and I dont think our board will either.if we finish in 8th position it would be an improvement .
I have very rarely been so optimistic going into a new season,it should be fun for all R fans .if you don't expect too much you wont be disappointed.

You may well be right. But the owners have been losing money on us for years and keep pumping in more money. They may be happy to lose that if they deem it to be a hobby, small change and a tax right off. But if we dont go up then I can see us selling some players like Dickie, Dieng, Dykes to bring I'm some big bucks. And the cycle starts again. A sustainable championship team that sells and has a new group coming through is fine by me. I'd rather go to games and see us winning than being cannon fodder in the premier league.
But for non-footballing reasons I would like to see us go up so the Board can recoup some money as its a two-way relationship. With parachute money one season in the prem must be worth £300m and even with that money I'd still carry on with the existing model.
I hate the premiership as a competition and am happy with us a championship club.
I don't know enough about the other teams so will say 5-8th on the basis we have the makings of a good side this season but can't compete financially with a number of other teams.
If we can keep clear of any significant injuries I could see us top 6. The squad is improved on last season (barring need another striker) and no reason we can't pick up where we left off.
