Seems to be growing speculation that Parker will be moving on. Dunno if that has any material affect on Johansen situation..... could mean a new manager would want to keep all their personnel to have a look at them or Johansen might feel he had more chance with a new gaffer?

Agree , this ain’t good news for us , Parker clearly didn’t fancy him but it’s a clean slate for everyone when a new manager arrives.

I hope not given that would be against the rules and leave us open to another fine. He's under contract with FFC until June 22 and not allowed to enter pre-contract stuff until last 6 months of that contract.

This has got to be resolved this weekend surely?
Teams are back in from Monday and Bournemouth will want Parker in place.
Fulham will also want a manager in place, rumours being Steve Cooper.
So a decision will be made this weekend or early next week........ SURELY!!!

I guess the positives are that he wants to sign for us, his agent wants him to sign, Fulham will get a fee for him now and nothing next summer. He will definitely have enjoyed the 2nd half of last season and I’m sure Warburton, Les, Amit etc will be showering him with love too!!

I’m quietly confident but still think we have to be patient.

I can't see this happening this window. We need to plan and budget for it NOT happening anyway. Any fee would be 75% less in 6 months and zero in 12 months so I don't see the need to be put over a barrel with our pants round our ankles over negotiations.
I think it's the Spurs manager vacancy holding things up. I think there is a big chain of manager moves on hold pending Spurs and Palace filling the hot seat that's (in)directly affecting future of Dyche, Howe, Cooper, Potter, Parker and others. Until FFC have a confirmed manager I can't see anything happening at all.
