Austin has been released by West Brom.
Also something I noted in the statement
"Fellow striker Charlie Austin will be leaving too, having spent the second half of the 2020/21 campaign on loan at QPR."
Is that confirmation that he is staying at QPR?

Not trying to be too stupid here but if Charlie has been released that means no transfer fee, could whatever fee we were likely to have paid for a good striker ie £1m then be factored in to his wages making them more attractive to him or is that from a totally different pot?

Good on him he could of got more elsewhere imo but he just wants football
hes good for us and we’re good for him and his family
just Stefan and we’ve done the biz genuinely looking forward to next season if he comes
