I wish him all the best and hope things work out for him, like Romford am glad to see the back of him he is a good shot stopper but scared me to death every time a ball went into the box, have to say probably worst keeper I have seen at QPR in 49 years of going.

I noticed on NewsNow that they have these headlines, "gutted, awful decision" etc etc in relation to the news Lums is off.
Well I'm sorry but who are these fans gutted?
I'm not gutted we'll replace him, where the hell do they get these quotes, I haven't seen any like that.

Agree Dave & it was joe’s decision & not the clubs to leave, so I don’t see how they are blaming the club saying awful decision, idiots

I think it was done to make him feel wanted and made up, imo he was a liability happy to wish him well but he ain’t as good as Seny simple as that.

You thought we'd have to pay to get him to go?

That's what happens when contracts expire. He didnt want to sign a new one.

Good luck Joe. Are there better keepers than him yes there are . But there are a lot worse as well. He did well when he came in for Senny whether he could have kept that up would have been interesting.

He’d been available all season , we weren’t inundated with offers at any point .

Boro have also agreed to sign 26-year-old goalkeeper Joe Lumley when his contract expires at QPR in June.

The shot stopper impressed against Boro in Rangers’ 2-1 win at the Riverside in April and wants to be the Teessiders’ No 1 between the sticks.

“For me, I don’t want to coming on from the bench. I want to be starting every game," Lumley told Boro’s website.

“Sometimes that is your job though - come on and help win the game.

"I feel I did that for QPR [at the Riverside recently] and hopefully I can do that for Middlesbrough now.

I’ll make sure I’m ready for every game and work hard every single day and let’s see where that can take us.

“My ambition since I was a young kid was to play for England. The stepping stone to do that is to play in the Premier League.

“I feel like joining Middlesbrough gives me that opportunity to get to the Premier League and fulfil my ambitions.”
