4 wins out of the last 5. Makes me even more annoyed that we lost to that Derby shower.

It was worse than that..... going into today we were 1pt from 5 home games since start of December. We really needed 3pts today by hook or by crook and we got them. I think we rode our luck and frankly did little to deserve the win but that doesn't matter one iota, it was all about the result and we got it.
6pts in a week is gold dust in this league and in our position, it's fantastic. We need to stay calm, keep focussed and go again next week now... We can't go another 5 games winless at KPF again.

We have played much better in games and got nothing , Bristol City at home and Brentford away as examples.Just goes to show how important the first goal is in tight games , especially at home where teams are happy to sit in like Derby did.

I think its often been said on this site, "Its all about tight margins"

We're now seeing those tight margins going our way.

Due to signings, formations, tactics, "gelling", whatever.

This was a match where we won a bit "ugly" Imo. Well done to Warburton and his team and I feel that Warburton and Eustace are quite close to being offered a contract extension now.

Warburton is a million miles off a new contract. Club will almost certainly let him see his contract out and show him the door. His overall record remains poor and his methods are unclear and obscure and take far too long to sink in with the players. We will lose players in every window and will need to induct new faces into the team - Warburton is manifestly incapable of doing this at any reasonable pace. We will recruit a manager who can keep it simple, balance the team and deploy systems/patterns of play that any player can quickly grasp and implement.

If we continue with this good form for the rest of the season and finish outside the bottom 3 I will be quite annoyed with the board if they sack off Warbs.
Feels like to me the players are finally settling down to style and formation.
I keep thinking if Wells was here how many he could've scored with the chances created.
I believe with better players we would be higher in the league right now.
Not really the manager's fault he has to work with in this budget.
