Superb all round display, Austin & Dykes linked up well, defence & keeper good, apart from a couple times we looked total control, £10 well spent

Amazing how one player can lift us into a proper attacking threat.
I hope the club have learnt that it's great to bring in players from lower leagues, coach them and make them better but you cannot go cheap on goal scorers. Even if it means the budget has to go up slightly. Spending £5m and £25k a week on a least one experienced striker is good business.

But back to the game last night, a good solid performance with chances created (well done to Kane and Chair for better delivery with crosses and corners). Good defending (mostly) and it goes to show that those of us who constantly criticised the plan A were correct. Why did it take MW so long to switch from 4231 to the 352 that worked so well last season between Sept and Nov until he switched to 1 striker?
And finally, what a prat of a ref for booking Bonne for lifting his shirt to show a R.I.P I miss you message, What's the difference between that and a team celebrating a goal and running to the touchline to pick up a shirt of a dead teammate to say "this goal is for you"?

Yes, Dickie has been good in most of his games and is so far easily the best of the summer signings.
Let's just hope that MW doesn't revert back to his favoured 1 striker formation (he did last season for no real reason and sent us dropping down the table between Nov - Dec, before Wells got recalled).

This 3-5-2 seems to suit us although as someone else mentioned, BOS doesn't look real comfortable at LWB, Warbs has to be given some credit for playing this and starting Charlie first chance, he also clearly gave Uncle instructions to run at their left side as they had no LB on the pitch in the end, that lead to our second goal!@gatorTFC
