Well it seems that if Adomah is the highest paid player on £12,500pw as a free transfer then BOS, who will be a free transfer in the summer, must think he can get more than that elsewhere.

I’m sure he can and Kane and Wallace are stealing a living earning that kind of money.

Well Kane has 18 months left and Wallace 6 months left on their contracts. But even these contracts are below average championship wages of £29k a week.

As we're seeing, if we get our averages wages down to £6-8k a week then those are top end League One salaries and that's likely to be where we end up.

We can blame the manager, but its essentially down to the quality of player we're prepared to pay for.

There’s an old saying pay peanuts etc. But a manager that’s so 1 dimensional don’t help god knows what training involves but ffs the defence let opponents run so far before we look like closing them down it’s embarrassing and that’s happened so many times we ain’t learning from mistakes, we need a captain Cameron is hopeless and a manager that can shake this shower into some kind of formation

Championship average wages are badly distorted by there being several clubs still in receipt of parachute money with players on Premier League money. Strip them out of the equation and I'd be surprised if the average was more than £16K.

                      True.

We have some low quality players on low wages (football wise), however we have some on higher wages and they are not earning it (including Kane, Wallace and especially Adomah).

The club has drastically cut the wage bill and in one way that is good for the club to fund itself, however the downside is that we end up with the quality in the squad that we have now.
Although what you say about the manager is absolutely true. His defensive coaching has always been questionable, but sticking by his one way of playing is not helping these players

Dykes is not a quality striker who can play this lone striker role to any good effect. He needs support up there , either from Bonne or Kelman, in order to reduce his workload and allow him to spend more time in the danger area to score goals (as long as there is a supply of crosses or passes for him to challenge for).

The defenders need to know that they have to close down quicker and get challenges in rather than backing off. It appears that they need to have more drills in training then they do at present
