am too young to remember alot of these mentioned as only been in this world since September '90, but my first memory (so obviously a great 1!) is of Danny Dichio scoring a lovely lobbed goal at the Loft against, i believe against Soton, in the PL.
Single best memory has to be Furlong's goal at home vs Oldham in the play-offs though, still brings a smile to my face now remembering the way LR erupted and the buzz all the way home, with every car bibbing at eachother and people in the street singing.
Got to say that the announcement before the Leeds game this year of no point deduction is also right up there. amazing sense of relieve and jubilation!
Finally, also remember a couple of belters away at Rushden from the Wild Thing that were very well celebrated! You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

best and worst memory were both the FA Cup final. Just a boy and it was all a bit over-whelming to be honest.
2nd was the Oldham game - never experienced an atmosphere like that at LR and doubt I ever will.

The morning I looked up our result from the night before in my local norwegian newspaper and figured out that we were promoted. This was in the Goddard/Allen period, but the year and date escapes me?
Anyway,those were the days!!:pleasantsuprise:
They seem so long ago today
I often wonder how you local Rsss who actually saw that match felt on the day?Last edited by Shania; 28-06-2011, 01:36 PM.QPR

blimey
blimey west 4 i remember going to that away game at cambridge when we won 4-1,steve wicks got carried off after scoring a brilliant goal.but it was true about walking through the cow field ,also some lunatic tried to ride a goat,i think he was a geezer from ladbroke grove
and strangely enough west 4 i also make my most special memory the highbury game in 1982,just like you say those 17 mins seemed to last forever
it was all so very emotional,i thought big bobby hazel was man of the match
