This post perfectly sums up the problems we are facing in Britain today. A large section of society with nothing more than a primary school understanding of history to confirm their prejudices that white people are responsible for current black oppression.

The completely wrong accusation that 13 people (not 19 get your facts tight) were burnt to death by racists. Just a quick rudimentary search shows this is false but no doubt is doing the rounds among BLM supporters to confirm how evil white people are.

Secondly, the tired and constant reference to the slave trade. Snore. Black people were just as complicit at enslaving their own as the European traders taking them from one place to another. Again, a rudimentary understanding of history shows the Barbary pirates to have been active in slaving Southern Europeans for sale across North Africa for centuries. Not to mention the Ottoman Empire murdering and enslaving over a million Armenians. But these facts don’t fit the narrative so we’ll overlook them and blame white people only.

Then you have the ludicrous argument that somehow people’s rising anger at the way in which they are being accused of constant racism and having to put up with our beautiful game being hijacked by Marxists (yes marxists, do some research if you don’t know what it means) can be explained by the fear of Mr T coming round and shagging the mrs. Not sure if that’s meant to be funny or a subtle intention to highlight some sort of white fragility. Either way it’s a terrible argument.

Lastly the same tired argument bringing up the past about Irish dogs and blacks etc completely unwarranted by today’s standards. It was posted elsewhere in this thread that one of the fans had been going rangers for 50 odd years and not seen any racism. That’s my experience too over 25 years form 81-2005 so not sure where your going with this totally irrelevant argument. But it again highlights yours and your ilks belief that some people somehow have a lot to feel guilty or ashamed about. We don’t.

In summary, uneducated people like yourself and many other woke justice warriors cherry pick history to suit their narrative that BLM is a virtuous movement that wants to bring Justice and equality to all people that are victims of white oppression. This is entirely misguided and fuels the forever increasing tensions between people of different ethnicities in the UK today. Britain is an unbelieveably tolerant and welcoming place to live so why not celebrate that instead of trying to desecrate the historical memorials. Kneeling in submission to these clowns along with black panther gestures is not doing anything to promote justice and equality other than making many people feel alienated from a club once much loved

The Nazis told everyone the Jews were evil, portrayed them as caricatures with bulging eyes and big noses.
White people are being demonised in a similar way with retoric of killing all white skins.

            Brilliant Post Asia.

I thought Mr T was an uphill gardener.

It was me that said I have never heard a racist word at Loftus Rd in over 50 Years, and I stand by it.

Oaayi-Samuel’s family voluntarily emigrated to England 13 years ago from Nigeria via Spain, he and his family were granted free education, free medical care, probably a hatful of other benefits and reasonable employment.

He nows plays professional football earning about 500 times what the average Nigerians earns, which is a very corrupt country.

Just WTF has he got to moan about, that little scum bag kneeling and make a black panther fist is an insult to this country.

If you reading this Bright, you should be utterly ashamed of yourself and apologise.

There is always scope for improvement because there will be injustices.

But people are risking their lives to get into this country, which is a very tolerant one, and I have never heard any individual (irrelevant of race) tell me there's a systemic racism issue in this country.

Everyone has a voice but I genuinely hope this doesn't result in an increase in far right action. For all the media's hype of the far right, we do not have a far right political force like the AfD in Germany or the National Front in France. This country had kept a lid on our National Front, EDL and what that fellah tried to turn UKIP into after Farage left. I currently work in a team of 12 and can assure you that white Europeans are the minority and we all work well together.

Be careful what you wish for - both sides need to tone down the rhetoric and keep to the middle ground as much as possible.

I fully agree the UK is a very tolérant country, probably too tolerant.

I don’t have a clue how they got from Nigeria to Spain, but i bet it was by Easyjet or similar from Spain.

                            Message from MILLWALL

First of all apologies for gate crashing your forum, but bear with me because its something that affects us all.
I'm a 64 year old Millwall supporter, the club having been handed down to me from my Dad, and his Dad before him. My Son has that reponsibility now, no doubt its the same for you.
I cant imagine there is to much difference between us, cut from the same cloth as they say, maybe a little difference in style but essentially working class that want to do the best for our Families and have a little bit of release at the weekend watching our teams with our mates, afew beers, and NO POLITICS.
But recently under cover of the lockdowns a divisive element has tried to sneak into the game we love, and we havent been able to do too much about it. The attempted provocation of our support on Tuesday night with your team taking the knee, which they havent down for weeks, plus the black power salute after your goal was shocking, and I know it has embarassed some of you on here.
Our support will not go down without a fight, and we know we need an alliance to make our voices heard, a way to remind club owners we aint here to be mugged off.
below is a post I wrote on our forum. there are people that are a lot more eloquent than me but I hope you understand my strength of feeling.

It seems like an age since Saturday so many opinions all of them heartfelt, but thats how we are, a passionate lot who care about our club.
the response on Saturday was what was expected by us and the media, the headlines were already written on Friday.
I'm in agreement with some people on here that this is gonna be a different sort of battle, there wont be a telling off by the F.A. and a fine.
This is a fight against a big organisation who have a BLM agenda that they want to impose on ALL supporters using racism as a battering ram.
I think we're all aware that we have widespread support for our stand on Saturday, and the follow up last night was the best we could of done in the short time we had after taking into consideration the strength of opinions over this.
So how do we move on from here, Sky and their agenda aint gonna go away, they even suggested we were applauding QPR taking the knee on Tuesday night, typical spin. But as somebody put it on another thread we need to be on the front foot and proactive.
Heres a potential idea. After reading what some of the Rangers supporters comments, there was a link to their forum on an earlier post, and they are as ####ed off as we are by whats happening, it was a mirror of this site (but with less swearing) Anyway this strength of feeling is probably multiplied thousands of times all across the country, but its how you focus this anger and direct it, instead of letting it dissapate and the moment is lost.
I will try to get on the Rangers site and post something to drum up support, something I wouldnt normally dream of doing, but I believe we have to respond, we cannot let this political #### be imposed on us

An open letter could be written and somehow posted on a few forums (we all have mates who follow other clubs) maybe touching on our typical response to the kneeling on Saturday, and the subsequent follow up at the QPR game, our fears for the future, and suggestions of how to make your clubs supporters voices heard...letters to CEOs. and a long shot, getting them to chant their support for us.
please feel free to add or take away from this.
