My great uncle Tom was taken prisoner by the Japanese army during the war in Singapore, he was forcibly enslaved by them #######s along with tens of thousand of Allied soldiers to build a railway in Thailand. He survived, thousands of allied soldiers died though.

Yes but that was war .. like my grandad inBurma so you can’t really compare normal peace time with war nor like a Millwall tosspot compare Mahlon what’s his name by giving the knee to insulting his dead great uncle . I’m not proud that we treated some of my family and friends like #### in the 50’s and 60’s hearing stories of getting beaten up if you went near Latimer Road , Having your baby spat on , getting constantly pulled over in cars for no reason .

All people are equal under the law but I accept that black people do suffer some racism. You're opinion may be that BLM is a social movement, mine is that it has a political motivation. On that basis the BLM reference and kneeing should have no place in football and the longer this goes on the it will have the opposite effect. I have no issues with any other anti racist campaign and I fully support them all. But no no no to BLM even if others think its blm.

I worked for London Underground on the Bakerloo line as a booking clerk from 1982 to 1990, I was racially abused by West Indians and Africans almost everyday when we caught them stealing by not paying their fares, Kilburn Park and the Elephant and Castle were quite memorable, especially the fights between rival drugs gangs, mainly black males of course.

That in a nutshell.
Like the St George cross is by many perceived to have been taken over by far right knuckle draggers ,BLM after the trouble it has been involved in globally, and many of its aims it claims to achieve(thankfully more in America than here) is now seen by many in this country in a similar vein and any good that the movement may have achieved has been nullified by this action and will be very hard if not impossible to sway people back.
