  • A point that is being missed

We are all talking about new managers etc, however, I am not convinced Alex Ferguson could save us with our current crop of players.

For any change to be successful any new manager needs to be matched with new signings. I know we are unable to sign anyone til the summer, however, I am talking about doing similar to what we did with Buzsacky. Got him on loan and had an agreement to sign him at the next available date.

By doing the above, the player feels part of the club immediately and his permanent signing becomes a formality.

I am looking for a significant enough impact to match that made by those who joined us when Briatore and Co originally took over.

It is no good thinking about this in 6 weeks time. It could be too late by then.

    Not sure it's being missed.
I see it that if the right manager is installed, it can tell us fans that FB/GP no longer have control and the future of the team will be in the hands of a FOOTBALL manger and can only get better.
Another plaster over the cracks, such as another manager who takes it up the #### from FB/GP would only mean more of what we have seen up to now.

See my point? The right man in, and we have some form of footballing future.

I agree the players are off the rails at the moment, but I think if they saw that change in the management and way things are done, they would buck their ideas up pronto!

The future's bright...the future is blue and white.

Conners in negative post shocker!............Things must be bad!!!!!!!

In my opinion we really do have an uphill struggle to stay up this season. A new manager with new ideas as well as a boardroom re-shuffle could give us a little lift though. Our squad is not as bad as our league position suggest, we just have too many players who are out of form, disillusioned or just don't care. A fresh approach may bring some of these guys back to form.

I say bring in the new man and make sure he is committed to the cause whether we stay up of go down. Also offer the players and the new coach an incentive to keep us up.

not sure that would work without knowing what league we will be playing in....can sell the club to the player all day long...but it would come down to where we might finish....so think agreements to sign on a perm would not happen.

Would say also, that if fans do hear of takeover soon and a Warnock or Curbishley taking over I do really think that the players will see a significant increase in support from the fans.

Not a criticism but too many have found it hard to get behind the team this year and once people are convinced there are big changes i think that will change and the atmosphere will once again become electric.

Have to also say, I would have no fears in going down if i new we had good owner and manager.

I kind of agree with you Conners. Don't really want to see us go down but if we were to go down with the Mittals in control of the boardroom, a new manager and a clean slate I would not be to dissapointed.

That's the spirit mate, and how I'm trying to see it myself.

It all hinges on FB and GP ferking off out of it for good.
If not I might stand outside LR mysef.

Agree with Conners, we need at least 2 quallity loans in now to have any chance of staying up. Must be better than we already or whats the point. The last 5 loans we have brought in have added nothing to the team, indeed, in most cases, made it worse.

I am pretty sure we will get in two quality loans soon, but thats not good enough. It just adds to our growing list of loans

My big problem is that we have already seen the players freeze in front of us against Ipswich and not sure they have the fight in them. Some of these players are pansies who won't get stuck.

Biggest error by the board is having so many loans who will be offski in the summer who don't care at all about the clubs future. The fans are very passionate, cannot say the same for the players at the moment.

                          really???

I thought everyone is disappointed and frustrated because the talent is there. I'd much rather have our squad than say Doncasters, Palaces, Readings, Plymouths and Peterboroughs.

This is what has angered me most. The majority of these players are talented and well paid but the biggest problem is that they are so feeble mentally. They seem too keen to feel sorry about themselves and everyone blames Briatore and Co but some of the games recently I have found to be a personal insult to QPR fans. After all we are the ones who love the club the most and their half hearted tackling and lack of running when the loyal fans are freezing to death I think is a disgrace.

These players have talent and can achieve at least a top half finish and this is why I want Warnock in. He needs to make them stronger mentally and even more importantly if they decide not to play for the manager they will all end up in hospital!

The quality is there we weren't panning teams earlier in the season for no reason, but they HAVE to get a decent manager in and now, Harford has as good as admitted that he can't handle it!

what if the players showed some appreciation of the fans
i recall 3 came over at bpool, 3 out of 17?? inc bench

their arrogance and contempt for us fans has gone too far...
and they want sympathy?? they started it
now, win a few games, earn their pay and show some heart for the hoops and maybe they'll get some "support"....

this is one of the most woeful qpr teams have ever seen, no fight, heart, passion, whimpering to losses.....shameful really.
