  • Taking the knee

I was just reading about Anton Ferdinand's upcoming documentary about racism in football and the incident with John Terry in 2011. It sounds like the FA weren't too supportive at the time. Given that our DOF is Anton's cousin, do you think this quite rightly has affected the club's stance on taking the knee and it having no value?

None what so ever & it’s a load of bollax this knee thing & all should be stopped, anyway that’s my opinion

        And it's Les's opinion too.

Thought our DOF made a statement some time back when we were slagged off by Sky for not doing it in a live game, saying that we wouldn't be doing anymore and that the moment has passed and it was now time for action rather than gesture's and it would be down to individuals, IMO i think it all needs to stop now,

They started kneeing it in June. Hilarious clubs are still doing it. Was out of hand the other week with some clubs doing poppy remembrance 10 days after the event cos it was "their first game since 11 Nov" and the knee thing as well. No wonder they're all dropping with muscle injuries - too much milling around being sanctimonious instead of running about keeping warm.
Thought that the Anton doc was superb btw.

I see there was booing from the crowd when Millwall and Derby took knee and kicked off today so there is much hoo-ha developing in media now.

Good for Millwall, I could easily change alliegence to them if QPR continue this ######.
The fist raised above the head is a black power salute.
How would the media react to a nazi salute?
Opposite side of the same coin
