I was at Loftus Road for the Leeds game 35,000 odd in 75, The loft was jam packed a great season, would be great to see our ground filled again, agree with Pyrford Highbury was buzzing in 82 for the Semi although Neutral grounds, Play Offs, Finals etc i don't think you can count as they are one off's.Queens Park RangersNPower Champions 2010/2011

Here's the paragragh:-
QPR moved to the White City this season and a record crowd of 41,097 saw them beat Leeds United in the Third Round of the Cup. In 1933/34 QPR moved back to Loftus Road, having made a loss of £7,000 whilst they were at the White City. Mick O'Brien became their new manager and QPR finished fourth in the League.
If only Amit & his fantastic uncle had been around then, aye.
It's the first I've heard of 60,000 gates during our dim and distant past, though certainly Park Royal held 60,000, I would love to see something more official on this, if anyone got any more info, then please post.
"Unprecedented demand" Mr Russell, you are clearly ignorant of your employers history.I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

I would imagine the biggest turnout of Rangers fans has to be the 67 league Cup Final.
It was just before I starting support the R's, but numerous people I've spoke to who were there said that the crowd of 100,000 was easily made of of 50,000 Rangers.
I wonder if the kindly Mr Russell can dig out the box office records?, blow of the dust and let us know.I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

Yeah I was there, and for the Leeds record crowd 35,353
Real shame violence and then poor results drove half the crowd away eventually.....
