Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Joe Lumley has joined League One outfit Gillingham on an emergency one-week loan deal, the club have confirmed.

A ‘keeper shortage at the Priestfield Stadium, owing to injury, has seen the EFL grant special permission for Joe to make the temporary switch to Gills.

The 25-year-old is in line to feature for Steve Evans’ charges in fixtures versus Sunderland (Saturday) and Crewe Alexandra (Tuesday) in League One.
