No sexy football with Woy , be bored to death .
I want to see Cameron making maldini style passes from the defence!

Thought we already knew we dont have the players for sexy football. We've already got a manager trying that one on the cheap

        Nigel Pearson.

Or Jim magilton. It would be funny to see him fronting up to some of our lot. They would probably start crying.

Thats a joke by the way!!

I hope warburton turns it around though. He had us playing the best football in years last season but without eze, manning, wells and hugill, we have lost lads who could cut it against the best teams in this league. We now have a fat second rate rangers reject, a lad who was playing non league 2 years ago, a striker who wasn't prolific in a crap Scottish league and a number 10 who is struggling to step up to being the main man. We bought potential but that's nothing until they produce every week. I'm astounded by the lack of defensive signings. And we are still stuck with 2 keepers we couldn't give away for free!!!

I reckon there only about 25ish English managerial posts that are currently significantly more attractive than the job of managing QPR. Of that 25, at least 6 are unobtainable for 99% of gaffers... the likes of Liverpool are only gonna appoint a manager from a very small field of international candidates.
So, given how many managers there are out there chasing posts or career advancement, I think we don't necessarily have to be shopping in the bargain basement for a new manager and I don't see why we cant go for likes of Eddie Howe, Steve Gerrard, Sam Allardyce, Sean Dyche. My personal choice has been Paul Cook for ages, wanted him when we opted for Warburton and I 'd still have him tomorrow.
My only real concern would be promoting from within - I'd want to get shot of vast majority of current staff along with Warburton on the basis they are all as culpable as Warburton. If Warburton goes, so does his backroom team.

Paul Cook with Lee Dixon as his assistant. We should ideally look abroad but I very much doubt our Board knows where to look there.

He wont be able to do it. He's best placed at a club with lots of dosh and backing...

I think he'll get found out like he did with Burnley

Sam would be the boy, better manager than ever given credit for.
But he would wait for another prem casualty

                  Well said.

The problem is Warburton wants to play a similar style of play but with lesser quality players and it just isn't working right now and probably won't at all.

I too am baffled by the lack of defensive signings , did they seriously think that promoting Kakay, Masterson and Hamailenen with a signing from League 1 (who barring errors against Preston and Barnsley - barely touched the forward by the way - has adapted well, would suffice for the season ? Especially given the congested fixture list in this shortened season. We needed at least 2 more defenders - yes, Stainrod , it is not hindsight, I did say this often during the transfer window.

I think Warburton has been stitched up a bit by the lack of defensive signings, but as a coach he needs to find a way out of the hole.

I think we would struggle to get better than MW. We are who we are and whoever we get will have quirks. No quick fixes.

If he did go Nigel Pearson for me.

Joey Barton no way. Maybe bring 'Arry back, or Holloway. Perhaps both. Holloharry?

Your right it’s not all hindsight, you did recommend we should sign about 50 players in the summer , ( don’t worry about ffp , not like we’ve been there before ).

Because we are a badly run club when it comes to scouting players and managers. That`s why.

How opinions have changed within a matter of weeks on here .We have gone from bringing in our record transfer fee on a kid no other club wanted . Blooding countless youngsters , signing plenty of players that no one was complaining about , 3/4 games later we are a shambles . It’s all a bit dramatic isn’t it .

Fair point. Unfortunately football is a results driven business, and our results and performances gave been very poor of late, hopefully we can get some decent performances and results within the next couple of games, which might help to change opinion again.
