  • Harford - You have to admire his honesty..

"We're in a real dogfight at the moment," he told BBC London 94.9.

"In my opinion they need to bring someone into to this club as quickly as possible," Harford added.

"[They need] a manager who is going to re-structure the club, have his own ideas and firm beliefs in what he wants to do."

However the former Wimbledon player, who has failed to win since taking temporary charge at Loftus Road, says he would relish the opportunity to be given the job on a full-time basis.

"If it is me, I'll take on the challenge, if it's someone else, I'll back them all the way," Harford said.
"I think this football club needs a bit of stability, it needs to bring in a manager, whoever it may be, with the right credentials to turn not only this season around, but the football club around."

    .................................................. ..........................

Whatever else he may be... he's a good man.

I like Mick a lot, hence why I fought his corner from the start. I think I more wanted him to do well that actually believed he would. He deserves respect and not to be slagged by our fans. He may not be the most tactically apt man in the world, but he's a decent bloke.
      Your mum would love me...

"I've said to the players we need to start winning games as soon as possible and getting clean sheets.

what he is saying is right - just hope we havent left it too late. We should have appointed a good manager to start with, not wait until we are in a relegation fight.

            Well said Harford,

I don't think he is capable of being the manager QPR need at this moment, but if he wants to stay on as a coach in the new set up, he might one day be able to step up.

But for now, I think QPR need someone with knowhow, experience, and the ability to organise and motivate.

Curbishley, Warnock, Coppell, Hughes, possibly Sven. Don't know much about Lothar M, but he might be a possible choice. Of course none of these would be interested if the Ringmaster, Briatore, is still running the circus show.
