Just had his compensation claim settled according to sky sports, could this mean hes heading to Loftus Road? How does everyone feel about Curbishley compared to Warnock? I personally prefer Warnock.

Curbs.. i think hes a great manager.. i want him as manager over warnock anyday.
Prefer Curbs.
The Charlton fans hounded him out, and look what subsequently happened to them.
Good manager, just gets on with it, no drama, no histrionics, may be what we need.
However, I don't think he'd lower himself to our level, unless the meddlers ceased to have a say.
He over achieved, and kept the over achieving whilst having a top wage of 20k. He left, and we all know the story. At west ham, board room troubles, players getting sold and still done a good job. Very good manager and would be my first choice.

Word of warning on Curbishley.
The last 2 years of his time at Charlton and his entire tenure at West Ham, he signed ageing pro's on huge salaries and signing on fees (before Gianluca Nani came in and signed over his head). Whilst he obviously didn't sign the cheques, consideration needs to be given as to his judgement in the transfer market.
Pre 2004 Curbishley, I'd have like a shot but would now prefer Coppell or Warnock - (Coppell will go to Palace on a short term deal if Noades re-purchases the club)

Still think he can do better than us though.
Yes, but can he do better WITH us.
