You can't "call someone out" because a rumour doesn't come true - it's just a rumour. Nobody wins anything for getting things right so why #### them off if it turns out not to be true?

For the longest time, this site was over moderated.

A decision was made a while ago, to step back and allow our members to police themselves, after all, the majority of us are adults.

This approach worked ok at first, but we do have a few members who truly dislike each other, and will look for any excuse to hijack each others threads/posts.

We also know, that there is someone, who would like nothing more than to see this site crash and burn, this total douchebag and its little fraternity, although they don't post, are always sitting on the sidelines hoping they will finally see the demise of WATRBs.
I am not suggesting for one second, that the recent spat of arguments have anything to do with these douches, as those involved in these recent arguments, do not come across as men that can be easily manipulated.

However, if we continue this way, I am sure you will agree, it won't be long before it's just me and QPRDave left

Therefore, MYU has brought on a couple more moderators (referees), to help in addressing some of the issues you have all mentioned.

How would you the members like to us to move forward?

Would you like to see a return of the slug out thread?
Would you like us to jump on a thread the second it starts getting a little hostile, and issue warnings?

Let us know what you believe would be the most appropriate form of moderating moving forward.
After all, this is your forum, and we want to do what is best for the majority, and not revert back to the dark times.

Agree stains, a bit of banter is healthy, and having different views is a good thing, but some of the personal attacks lately are getting a tad boring.

I don't want to agree with everyone, but I've learned, to take another fans pov on board, and think about it.
As for this itk bashing, it's rumours, and it's supposed to be fun.
Some of them come to fruition some don't.
But I want to hear from insider and JN.

Bottom line is we follow a skint outfit dragging it's heels in transfer market and we can't go to games.... it's inevitable boredom will set in and there'll be outbreaks of silliness on here to fill the gaps. In the wider context of things in the world right now the "issues" on here are mere trifles not worthy of thought.

I think there does need to be an intervention when disagreement ( healthy) turns into insult, particularly when it descends to the level of family members ( wife, girlfriend, mother etc). Ignore? Maybe, but when an otherwise interesting thread is hijacked by frankly risible insults its time to stop.
