I know that Warburton and Hoos said that they won't be investing much of the money (if any) into the squad , but surely they must if they are to avoid a long relegation battle in 20/21.
2 or 3 new signings (unless of good quality) just won't be enough.
Warburton wants BOS and Manning to commit themselves to the club for another 2/3 seasons, but why would they do that if the squad is not improved? They don't want to fight for survival, they want to challenge for promotion.
The club needs to show some real ambition in order to keep those two (and any other good youngsters) for longer periods than they currently have.
Before Covid they told us that there would be money to spend this season as the FFP cycle had improved.
The money from selling Eze should more than cover the losses of Covid so there must be funds to improve the squad. Fans will also be allowed back into stadiums by 2021 if not sooner.
