Came up from Surrey last night, it's a distance of just under 45 miles to QPR, and usually about an hour and a bit in travel time - Had three teenagers with us in the car all pinching, punching, and winding each other up ..... brain damage!
Then found out in Roehampton that Hammersmith Bridge was shut, so that added another half hour to the journey .... doh!
Got into Cafe Rest near Goldhawk Road tube at 6.35pm. Shortly after I'd ordered our meals, a Rangers fan walked in and told us the game was off!
Another hours drive back home to Surrey, more pinching, punching and winding up by foresaid teens ........... how good did that beer taste once the blighters were given back to their parents?:victory:R.I.P Steve Edwards, Neil Roberts & Trevor Kingham

I jumped on the tube to Victoria and ended up outside a pub with no TV,jukebox or any entertainment with it being the cheapest in Zone 1 at £2.20 a pint. A pub called the Cardinal in francis street.
I ended up paying £2.90 for a pint of fosters & watched 2nd half of United game in a pub called the coach & horses near to Victoria station. Had to put up with a Chelsea 50 year old fan saying this is a chelsea pub but fair play to you. He was ****ed but nice bloke. Nice bar & then ended up in Sainsburys market raiding the sweet section for journey home.
