Watched Charlie play for Hendon And after a couple of games it became apparent that he would play at a much higher level and so it proved as he moved to Scunthorpe where he made quite a lot of 1st team appearances In league 1 before dropping down a division to join Northampton where he became a permanent fixture. So now he has joined Brentford and not us I am slightly disappointed but not despondent as I'm sure Mark will come up with something. One thing Charlie does have is a long throw so beware when we play them.

I am sure QPR have other options to persue.
we will just need to wait a bit longer as usual.
as already said, we cannot compete with the likes of Brentford, Norwich , Derby, Forest etc. We are now at the level of Luton, Wycombe, Rotherham and Barnsley.

The damage was done in the early years Under Fernandez Warnock , Hughes , Redknapp and Phil Beard .Its been a long way back but the club have been on the right track for a while now .No good blaming the current staff for past failures.

What about throwing away their Premiership status in 2015 by not spending a penny in the January window and replacing Redknapp with Ramsey rather than looking for an experienced replacement or trying to entice Allardyce who was no longer wanted at West Ham?

Ramsey was the wrong appointment , we were right not to give Redknapp any money to spend in that January window .He had spent enough on Sandro , caulker , Samba and many others . He has a history of bankrupting clubs at that point we knew it had to stop . Redknapp then spit his dummy out and left , blaming a dodgy knee as his excuse .

I can understand , but not necessarily agree about Redknapp not being given money, but as you say, Ramsey was a wrong appointment therefore Les and co -Chairman are therefore culpable too for the mess we are currently in. They could have foreseen Redknapp resigning and acted earlier in the window to replace him. Although maybe they deliberately waited until the window closed so as not to spend any money - again wrong imo.

Agree that not every appointment is right, but as you say, to copy the mistake Wolves madewhen appointing Terry Connor to replace McCarthy,was also criminal. Sunderland appointed Dick Advocaat a few weeks later and he kept them up. Sorry,but you can't choose to blame and carry your gripe against Hughes Redknapp Fernades and Beard for their mistakes but absolve Ferdinand and whoever else approved appointing the coach for the under 18s or whatever age group,to try and keep QPR up.

Where have I absolved Les of appointing Ramsey ? I said it was the wrong appointment but it doesn’t come close to the damage done to the club compared to the others you mentioned.
