Flavio saved the club from meltdown. No question

But to say if he hadn't done so we would have gone into administration is patently untrue as there were at least 2 other willing purchasers who would have had the necessary finance in place to move the club at least to safe waters (sorry for nicking GP's quote).

If Caliendo, GP and Zanotti had continued in situ, then yes, we would have been in admin but to say Flavio saved the club from admin isn't true. In my opinion and to the best of my knowledge.

Its whats so frustrating, he done everything right, media attention, glamour, rich partners , lovely facilities, great sponsors then............... he could not stop his meddling and listened to the liability of Paladini.

He too has been the one who priced out and caused the rift between the supporters and the club. If he took a different approach and never come out with comments like the £20 supporter amongst other things then maybe there wouldn't be such a divide.

well said dazzer, the next step is a very important one ie getting the right structure at board level with hopefully the mittels getting seriously involved, flavio on the board could be a very useful ally(if his nose is not out of joint with the shuffle)for his excellent contacts but not calling the shots now of course, paladini?as far away from DOF as possible because a competent manager of the calibre we should be seeking will take the role of buying and selling players and be left alone to get on with his job.
this will take time and there is no quick fix but will be worth the end result!
            PATIENCE PLEASE!!!
