The one saving grace we should be enternally grateful for is that without doubt, this club would have gone into adminsrtation without him. He cannot blamed for the ABC loan previously taken out which was crippling this club. Sometimes, we forget that despite wanting premiership football this club have to balance the books and in this current climate generally in football its extremely difficult to stay afloat as seen with bigger clubs like Leeds and Cardiff. We have come a long way even in regards to sponsors from Sellotape to Gulf Air and Lotto.

The biggest thing Flavio ever done for this club was bringing inThe Mittals in the first place, as without that we would not be looking optimistically about the future. We could berate Flavio all we like, but he did bring good investors on board who are losing money every month and the only way that can be recouped is to get into the premiership. So for our anger and resentment, Flavio has contributed in making sure our security is assured.

I hope Amit and his father in law get the fans back on side, as when things are going well we have the best fans in the world and hope they are given time to change things around and that we as fans are patient, because success won't happen overnight.
what barefaced hypocrisy.for the last two to three weeks you've have run an agenda against him. similar to the one you ran against souza.
now you choose to laud him.
          i don't know you,vey glad it's so.
friends,*****s and the otherwise interlectually challenged lend me your ears,i come not to bury fb/gp but to praise them.
          you are one sick coot.

He too has been the one who priced out and caused the rift between the supporters and the club. If he took a different approach and never come out with comments like the £20 supporter amongst other things then maybe there wouldn't be such a divide.

            You reap what you sow!
            Dazzer you are right.

I recall one of my earlier posts when I said for me success would be:
            2007/08 - survival. Achieved
2008/09 - top 10 - well on course under Dowie, but FB screwed this
2008/09 - top 6 - who knows, what Dowie or even Sousa could have achieved if given the chance
            2009/10 - top 2
            2010/11 - mid-table in Prem

That was my idea of a 4/5 year plan.

The last two are possible still, but first of all is surving this season. And if the Mittlas take over, I will not be expecting them to fulfill the original plan.

I’ve always thought he’s reacted like a fan would and gets criticized for it…….some of the rubbish served up annoys him……take Swansea away under Dowie, then Sousa’s style of football…….Hart was just rubbish. Magilton…not sure that was much to do with him, wasn’t he away? Also if none of the players are behind the manager, not much else you can do. He’s clearly a bloke who wants qpr to do well, he’s just gone about it acting first, then thinking later and not had enough good “football men” around him…..though would he listen? He clearly likes going and supports…so more than happy for him to stay on in some capacity

an endless line of ****e players, managers etc cos he won't stay out of team affairs....
the c-club has been a disaster and alienated fans, clearly making a "them and us".....we are probably £30-50m in debt???

                    whatever, you can't spin this...

sponsorships have been very good but only trigger large monies IF we go up and we ain't.

I'll second that. Whichever way we look at it, serious money needs to be invested in the first team, if we are to see our Rangers back in the premiership before we're all pushing up daiseys.

                        Pete

Cannot argue with any of that, and a very fair assesment of FBs reign. Despite alienating people, he will have left the club in a stronger position.

Unless the debts have really mounted up after paying big wages to players such as Hall, Routledge, Vine, Agyemang, Buzsaky, Cook, Helguson, etc.

Not to mention the alledged cost of doing up the SA Rd areas for the rich 'boutique' fans.

My guess is that these have cost the club more than £20M over the last two seasons. Perhaps the sponsorship deals etc have covered a fair bit of those costs, but certainly not all. And with crowds not being good, I wouldn't say the club's situation is good.

Also, the ABC loan was transferred to FB/AB's company, so that is still outstanding and needs to be paid off otherwise it is costing the club around 750K per annum in interest only.

                            Fundamentally NOT true.

                            I hate that myth.

Nodge I respect your opinion alot and I always find you are spot on, however I do agree with Pete regarding admin.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
