  • Flavio's Knockers

Okay, it look its time to go and his imminent departure or reducing his shareholding will be well received by the masses. Its not worked out, even though we've had glimpses of success on the pitch.

Of course his arrogant reign will be remembered for changing too many things in a small space of time, not giving managers long enough in pursuit of his goals and ambitons and treating fans with contempt. The one saving grace we should be enternally grateful for is that without doubt, this club would have gone into adminsrtation without him. He cannot blamed for the ABC loan previously taken out which was crippling this club. Sometimes, we forget that despite wanting premiership football this club have to balance the books and in this current climate generally in football its extremely difficult to stay afloat as seen with bigger clubs like Leeds and Cardiff. We have come a long way even in regards to sponsors from Sellotape to Gulf Air and Lotto.

The biggest thing Flavio ever done for this club was bringing inThe Mittals in the first place, as without that we would not be looking optimistically about the future. We could berate Flavio all we like, but he did bring good investors on board who are losing money every month and the only way that can be recouped is to get into the premiership. So for our anger and resentment, Flavio has contributed in making sure our security is assured.

I hope Amit and his father in law get the fans back on side, as when things are going well we have the best fans in the world and hope they are given time to change things around and that we as fans are patient, because success won't happen overnight.

Well said BUT.... Flavio did bring a lot of these problems on himself. We would have been patient if he never set expectations so high. He mentioned Premiership even Champions League in 5 years, WE NEVER DEMANDED IT! We was just thankful our future looked bright. He too has been the one who priced out and caused the rift between the supporters and the club. If he took a different approach and never come out with comments like the £20 supporter amongst other things then maybe there wouldn't be such a divide.

Flavio should have watched the Big Match DVD when he took over, he might have got an inkling what where all about.

He did many good things for the club, but I'm sorry to say, most people won't remember him for them.

Onwards & upwards with Amit and his very rich uncle.

Pete I have said as much on other sites, whilst FB and GP have made a bit of a pigs ear of it, without them there would be no Mittals and that is why I ask all fans to remain positive tonight and get behind the side rather than going at GP and FB, it will not help the side to here GP this FB that, just support the side and let everything else fall into place over the next few days.

                        Well put.

I just hope we all understand that nothing will happen over night and staying up this year and maybe a big push over the next couple will be enough to keep (us )the fans on his side.

But as you say Cheers flav for given me some hope over the last couple of years and for stopping my club being no more.:byebye:

Dyslexic so please don't feel the need to correct my spelling mistakes as I really don't give a **** and before you say use spell checker if it is spelt right / wright but not in context spell check is useless

I have always said that I am grateful for what both GP and FB have done in securing QPR's future as a CCC club.

And if course, bringing in good financial deal with Lotto, Gulf Air Santander etc have helped enormously. The best thing FB did was bring in the Mittals.

However, he has acted like a dictator, meaning The Mittals were not prepared to spend any more money than necessary.

His attitide to a managers like Dowie stank regardless of the football quality, QPR were doing well and on target for the play-offs, maybe even better if he had been able to buy players in January.

But the worst thing, was his attitude to the fans. £20 fans was a downright insult. For starters there are 23 home games to pay for, add in travel costs (high for some), food drinks programmes etc, many of these so called £20 fans were paying more than £600 a season for home matches alone.

Obviously the longer distance fans from places like the home counties and Southampton etc were spending around £1000. We are not all in well paid jobs and for many this was nearly all, if not all, of our leisure money for the year.

The sooner he goes the better.

Mr Mittal, if/when you do take charge can you please can your plans for the club, include better interaction with fans, more respect to us, appoint people who know about Football (English football preferred), a better scout and youth set up and plans for a bigger capacity at LR or a new stadium for when |QPR do get to football's Promised Land.

                              P.S.

Can we have our badge back? I am sure most of us don't want Flavio's badge as a permanent reminder of him.
