Great find SirLes so the new %s would be:

    Mittal 50%
    Other 31%
    Bernie 15%
    Briatore 4%

It's like election night but rather than Labour just losing to the Tories they've been beaten by the Monster Raving Looney Party as well.

I can only pray this news is true, and that Mittal will not seek council from GP or FB as to how our club should be run, lets face it despite the early signs being positive 'proven english manager etc'. These guys are just as much as a novice as FB was when he first took the reigns

Terrific news and the Mirror are normally very very accuarate with there stories.

I would love to see Warnock appointed he is a far better manager than Dowie.

          Looks like well done Amit

And lest we forget Flabio would own half the ground as well still. Sorry to put a dampener on things..so..not in control, but still with a vested interest.

Doesn't flavio have a joint charge with Amit for the ABC loan against the ground, so while Briatore's stake in the club may be reduced he still has effectively 50% of the ground, which is why I guess they are haggling over board representation

as long as he hasnt got as much of a say as he has now then it can only be good news.with mittal soon to be increasing to 50% its him that will make all decisions now.

No, he's saying he originally had 54%, then sold 20 to Mittal previosuly, leaving 34% now to remain majority holder. If he sells another 30% now, he'll have 4% left to retain a stake (and obvioulsy reap the profits when we dominate Europe...)

Let us hope this comes off as it could really start a new reign and bright future for our great club!!!!

Think that leaves him with 50% what Briatore has now.

Would seem to indicate Flavio remains with small percentage. That is understandable if that happens, because he would take a back seat, but he has brought sponsors into the club.
Best news I have heard since it became apparent Briatore wasn't going to splash the cash.

Perfect appointment to get us out of this division albeit next season. Let's just hope Mittals are prepared to get in some one who can accurately rate a player.

Our scouting network is absolute garbage. There was a post on here about Priskin from an Ipswich fan that said he was lazy and didn't ever run, two games in and already we have seen this trait. If we, the lowly fans can see it why can't the people who arrange the transfer?

if Warnock or any other manager comes in than GP will leave or have a different title to SportinG Director so that fans cannot point the finger on who comes and goes on the playing side.
Paladini has to go. There is no place for him now at the club (if the thread is to be believed) his record on transfer dealings is awful and his managerial appointments even worse.
