I don't think Administrators HAVE to take any or all offers, otherwise, we'd have one of theirs playing for us now (didn't we bid £700k for someone ?), also Colin himself has said offers were made for Clyne and others but turned down, so even in Admin presumably they have a say in who goes and when.

I do think Administrators have a duty to creditors to achieve as good a deal as possible for them regards getting their money back, and that suggests if money, fee or in our case, compensation is considered high enough, it should be accepted.

So, why Mirror now but NotW before Pete ?
Fez, I'm sure he did, in fact, I suspect he knew writing was on the wall soon after Scunny at home, possibly at Posh and definitely by Half Time v Ipswich !

    And what's happening with Bernie's stake / shareholding ? Anyone know ?

Always maintained the mirror, don't know where you get The SUn from??

Palace feel they will get more for Clyne end of the season, he is only 19. It was a business decision

They won't have the bigger part of the steak, if you get my drift

Though flavio does like a big steak

The steak could be from a bernie INN

Pete, must be my mistake, but I'm sure you previusly said Sun or NotW were always closest to truth with us. Never mind, can't be @rsed to look back...months ago.....
Clyne, so it's like I said, Admin can't force a sale just because an offer is made, they can hold out for a better offer.

qprjames, I guess the point of Flav staying is -
                        a) He wants to retain an interest (/just in case we do one day make it to the Prem)
                        b) He has good contacts regards sponsorship and attracting inverstors (probably the only good thing he's done for us)
                        c) He likes to be bloody minded.

So Bernie....what's his 'steak' percentage ? and is it part of Mittal's offer ?

My understanding was that FB had a 35% share which would leave him with 5%. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The story suggests that Mittal could buy his 30% stake. Not 30% of his stake but the whole of it.

I was always of the impression that Briatore owned more than Bernie but is it possible that has Mittal 20%, Briatore 30%, Bernie 30%, other share holders 20%? Doubtful the split is anything like that but that is what is being suggested in the way that it has been written.

                                this report suggests Briatore bought 54% then sold 20% to Mittal. Bernie has 15%. The remaining 31% is still held by smaller shareholders;
