  • The next chapter is here ... be part of it?

That is the offical sales pitch headline propaganda put out by QPR FC to sell season tickets to us for (last) season 2008/09.

It continues ... "For too long we've traded on past glory. Great names like Bowles, Marsh and Venables hark back to a proud history.

But that history is now repeating.

New owners. New management. New players. The same adventurous, attacking, football that this huge club is famous for.
The sleeping giant is awake and aiming for the top. And you must be there to catch it all.

A QPR Season Ticket is the only way to guarantee your seat for every home game in what promises to be the next great chapter for our club.

DONT MISS OUT. ORDER YOURS NOW.

Under all of that, is a picture of Gareth Ainsworth
with his signature next to it.

No disrespect to Gareth, but William Joyce couldn't have written a better article. Mind you, that article failed to mention that we'd be palmed off with a rubbish club crest, a stupid club mascot that has no part of QPR history, and the disgusting treatment of Sheila Marson..... I could go on but what's the point!

i dont think gareth would have written that.

the implied writer would have been the PR team with instructions from comcial ali.

      Makes you laugh eh!

Looking back, how wrong that statement was.

Anyone good with literacy, maybe you could re-write that replacing the dreaming with the actual.

Great piece of marketing wasn't it Joe? We all fell for it, along with the 4-year plan ********...fingers crossed we might be in better hands soon, but I wouldn't hold your breath as sods law always seems to turn up at Rangers...

Pete you should know Faulin did not cost 3.5 mil, more like 500,000.

You know that board would never have santioned any transfer that large, that 3.5 mil figure is rubbish.

Firstly, I rate Faurlin, so this in no way is meant as a slur on him, but not what you said, but he was signed from an Argentinian 2nd Division side, when there were clearly better and proven players available from the Argentinian
                  first division for less money.

This Board wouldn't even sanction a £1.5M deal for players like Cox or Hooper, so no way do I believe they paid out £3.5M for a little known Argentinian.
