What an intelligent and articulate man he is.

If he's true to his word we'll be ok.

why do i feel more depressed after listening to that again ?

is it a realisation of how badly we have fooked up over the last 18 months ?

should I be optimistic about the next 18 ?

Its quite clear he won't over spend either and will be prudent on buys, so how long before we start on him?

I know its great to potentially have him at the top, but it seems if we have not acheieved anything in 12 months, the rumblings will start?

I just think we need to be patient.

Pete I agree he will need to be sensible regarding wages but a much bigger transfer kitty should be made available in the summer to the new manager.
We won't compete in this league if we don't spend. This can still be done by keeping a wage restriction in place. What frustrates me is the free transfers that they think are getting a bargain and yet offer them big money on long contracts. The money we have waisted means we have lost out on real quality. Give the new manager a chance. If warnock refuses the job then I assume we are again showing a lack of ambition ie transfer funds
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Patient and cheap I don't mind.

Just get a squad of players that we own, a decent manager running the side and controlling what players he wants and the soul back into the club - on both the playing side and the support base - will do me. Promotion can wait

Unity is what we need, players that want to play for us and not just mercenaries looking for the biggest wage packet! Playing with pride, and giving 100% and a bit of transparency from the club, tell us what they want to do and where we are heading, not feeding us with bull and spin!
I JUST WANT OUR CLUB RUN PROPERLY! As Nodge says,"promotion can wait",once the club is being run properly I'm sure that will be reflected by results in the league, and then we can all be proper R's fans and not factions each bickering and turning on one another(messageboards).
I'll get off my soap box now!! COME ON YOU R'SSSSS!!!!!!
I came here to chew gum and kick ass,and I'm all outta gum!

Gulf Air's finances are in an even worse state than QPR's......they have been kept afloat by bail outs from the Bahrain government for over a year.
