  • And they all lived happily ever after.....

.............. Flavio and co. initially decided to test fans loyalty to their new club in 2007 by being tight and un-willing to spend thier money, go through managers like thier Calvin Klien pants and put thier big formula one oars into the team selection (not to mention one happy man 'purposely' getting in to trouble in that section of thier lives to test football fans patience). They were quite impressed that it took til' the stroke of 2010 for the fans to really get on thier backs, and for this loyalty decided to go ahead with 'operation actually reach the premiership'. They brought in a manager that they nicked off of another team doing very well, and steered the club into the right end of the table. In the Summer of 2010 they decided that they would not get ANY loan signings at all, and would actually be purchasing real quality players that they knew would fire the hoops into table-peaking consistency, instead of a dodgy 4th choice Wolves keeper and a Morrocan who wouldn't even pass table salt.... on loan. QPR played extremley well in the 2010/2011 season, and they even went far in the domestic cup competitions! The papers, real sports coverage channels and maybe ITV loved QPR that season, and you couldn't go a month without the hoops being on the telly. QPR won the Championship with 5 games still to play in the season, at home, against Reading. QPR never dropped down from the first tier of English football again after that point, but that story is for another time.

Wouldn't it be great if the history books said that eventually? It's a great story.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that the stadium was packed every week so they built a new 50,000 seater (with extra room for additional stands)

Bit unfair on the lad - we do have a p.ss poor defence in front of him.He has great positional sense, good at cross's and a good shot stopper.Has managed to keep radek out, so he must be quite a good keeper...
