What is about modern football, that you find irritating/odd/ was better in the ol' days?
was footie better when you were growing up, or better now?
For me? It's this whispering behind their hands when out on the pitch.




McEachran, was doing it last night while standing over a free kick. QPR players were all
10 yards away in a wall, who was he hiding it from?

that talking behind hands, who do they think they are......over paid prima donnas.
goal celebrations......baby rocking, silly little dances, and that bloody fortnight crap.
live games.
minutes silence/clapping for non football related......you might not even like the person. seems there is a minutes silence every game.
all seater stadiums
players wearing gloves, except the goalkeeper.
and finally VAR.
basically everything.

loved walking across them terraces.
peanut shells all over terraces after the game finished.
the smell of old Holborn and golden virginia, that roll up aroma that used to waft all round the ground.
players covered in mud......you don't see mud no more on these over manicured billiard table pitches.
1 to 11 on the players shirts......with no advertising.
stewards that actually supported the home team and knew how to handle the fans, not looking to fight you every game.

On a slightly different note I believe there is a gap between a yellow card and a red card.
When a player deliberately brings a player down should be a yellow card and wait for it...

Never see him play earliest players I saw John Mclelland,Keith Ritter,Ray Drinkwater,Tony Ingham etc at the White City.
