Scouser? Mate of Gerrard? Who knows? Clint Hill is a legend though.... Reckon he can turn up at any event for legends any time, any place, anywhere!
Still embarrasses me that when we signed him I thought it was a rubbish signing and why were we getting a clapped out carthorse with a gammy knee!
Clint has a great attitude, far more deserving of that status than someone who'd been at a club 5+ years, picked up a huge salary for basically treading water.... He is one of my favourite QPR players of recent times.
It's an interesting question isn't it? What qualifies a player to be a Club Legend..... Who are our cub legends? SWP got that winner at Stamford Bridge. Zamora got winner in playoff final. Fenwick scored in cup final. Dennis Bailey got hattrick at Old Trafford. Bircham had blue hair. Firs, SirLes, Macca, Stan, Marsh. What about when a bonafide football legend has a little stint with us.... Ardilles, Sammy Lee, Julio Caesar, Vinnie Jones, Mark Hately, Razor Ruddock, Kenny Samson - can you be a football legend but not an Rs legend????
