Comfortable win against one of our bogey sides, should have been a lot easier than the Score of suggests, however our trade mark stupid tackle across the player for a pen and dreadful marking gifted them 2 goals.
Our defence needs sorting out as the team as an attacking unit is as good as any in the league, hard to pin point the exact cause but they seem to collectively switch off at times, Manning has come on this year and plays his heart out, left exposed at times by Eze not tracking back. If we could just find a commanding fast centre back to compliment BFG this team could surprise a few people.

The game was turgid and flat for the first 30 mins, once we scored we upped the tempo and second half took Blackburn apart at a times, Wells, Hugil, Eze and Chair all looked dangerous, BOS was out of sorts but scored a good goal and was then immediately subbed which was a bit odd.

MOTM for me and I’m sure a lot of people will not agree was Scowen, not perfect but did what he is paid to do
Again a poor crowd, this team entertains and deserves bigger crowds, never a dull moment down the bush with goals galore.

Have to agree Romford, that's how it looked on the big screen! I'm glad you made the point about Scowen, I was going to post the same, thought I would get shot down, he was very solid, in the right place most of the time with some crucial interventions, he had a couple of wayward passes but also had some very good ones to start attacks!

saw scowen pull out of 2 50/50's he didn't bottle it he was mindful of getting booked . liked that as he can be reckless and cost us at times , he had a good game , thought manning , and chair were good ... bradley dack had a off day so that helped

I thought it was an enteraing game, especially the 2nd half.

The team played well and generally kept their shape and created plenty of chances and could have had 6 goals , but as usual they switched off for Blackburn's 1st goal after the ref made them retake the free kick.

Kelly didn't really have much to do so it is difficult to judge him although apart from 1 misplaced clearance and 1 kicked out into touch his distribution does look better than Lumley's.

I like Hugill and Wells in attack and think they work well together. Eze looked better this week than he did against West Brom. I thought Chair had another good game and was disappointed to see him subbed, but he at least got a standing ovation.

BOS looks to have a poor 1st touch and needs to be stronger when challenging for the ball or protecting possession. However, he played his part for Wells' hoal and took his one very well.

No more than Cameron to be fair.

Thought Scowen was back to how he used to be before he became the scapegoat. Was a good game for him and you are right, he made some good passes that got us on the attack.
