  • International Break interrupting our momentum

Typical innit!? Anyway, how many of our squad will get a genuine rest for a while and who will be off on international duty at full or junior level?

I’d rather leave on a win then a defeat tbh
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

With the two cup games in the mix there's been a lot of games in short timeframe, plus injuries and some not match fit so the window will most likely work for us.

That it? Blimey, might be giving bulk of squad a proper rest for a change. No more Mass jetting off to Oz at least. As for Nakhi sloping off to Bermuda....... hard knock life innit!?

                A rest won't hurt Manning.

A HOST of QPR players have been called up by their countries for September’s round of international fixtures.

Striker Nahki Wells is in the Bermuda squad for their CONCAF Nations League matches against Panama. Bermuda will host Panama on September 5th before travelling to them four days later.

Matt Smith will link up with the Wales squad next week for their EURO 2020 qualifying clash with Azerbaijan on September 6th. Ryan Giggs’ squad will then host Belarus in a friendly at the Cardiff City Stadium on September 9th.

On-loan forward Jan Mlakar has been named in the Slovenia U21 squad for their friendly with France U20s on September 8th in Maribor.

Conor Masterson has earned a call-up to the Republic of Ireland U21 squad. They face two U21 European Championship qualifying matches in September – against Armenia and Sweden – with the first being on home soil and the second away from home.

Ilias Chair and Morocco U23s will take on Mali U23s twice in September. Both games come in U23 African Cup of Nations qualifying, with Morocco having the first clash at home on September 4th and second away on September 8th.

Scholar Armelindo Mema is in the Albanian U19 squad.

Meanwhile, out-on-loan R Paul Smyth is in the senior Northern Ireland squad for their friendly with Luxembourg and EURO 2020 qualifier with Germany.

Haven't got to worry about Mass and his air miles and coming back jet lagged and off th3 pace for another 6 weeks anymore - bonus.

can get a good couple of weeks into the new players to gel, never a bad thing. Expect us to be even better after the break

EBERE Eze has received his first call-up to England’s Under 21s.

It follows an impressive start to the season for QPR’s young attacking ace, who bagged goals in each of the R’s wins over Stoke City and Wigan Athletic during August.

Eze – who represented England at Under-20 level last campaign – has been selected for the upcoming UEFA European U21 Championships qualifiers.

Aidy Bothroyd’s young Three Lions kick-off their qualifying campaign in Turkey on Friday 6th September before returning to home soil against Kosovo at Hull City’s KCOM Stadium on Monday 9th September.
