Harford - Morale at QPR is high

    Coventry City 1-0 QPR

MICK Harford insists morale in the QPR camp is high despite their disastrous run of form.

Gary Deegan's first-half strike saw Rangers crash to their fifth straight defeat at Coventry City on Saturday to extend their winless streak to nine games.

The Hoops are just two points off the drop zone, but Harford says spirit is still good.

He said: "You run out of words to say when you are on a run like this because you don't get the rub of the green.

"You are always under pressure as a manager. You are judged on results. I would prefer to play poorly and win, that's what we need to do at the moment.

"I don't think we deserved to lose because they had one shot on target in the whole game and it took a deflection. It's my job to pick the players up but the spirit is good."

Fulham is a typically diverse London area with something for everyone - from the hustle and bustle of North End Road Market, to the refined chicness of the iconic Fulham Road. It boasts superb pubs and restaurants, two Premier League football clubs and excellent transport links.

Well, they're doing a good impression of a bunch of players who are shot to bits, with zero confidence. :waaaht:

Things that Mick is not very good at.

    #1 : Being a manager of a football team.

    #2 : Kidology.

Any more that you can think of,please feel free to add
    to the list.

Well, Mick, considering how we are doing with high morale, I shudder to think what the team's performances would be like if the morale was low.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

        Terrible bout of kidologitis there.
The players heads drop really quickly, the lack of confidence is there for all to see.
Hardly surprising given the goings-on at the club.
I wouldn't want to work for an organisation like Rangers.

I think raising confidence and morale has to be the biggest issue with this squad now.

QUICK ADDENDUM: If the morale is high, HOW? The fans' morale isn't high. Rock bottom in fact. Just can't believe it.

You only had to watch his interview after the Coventry game to see that he has run out of idea's.

Paul hart and Mick Harford were diabolical appointments by the board, who at the moment are reaping the rewards of being such tight ####'s when it comes down to appointing a decent manager.

              agree.
However we could be stuck with him for the rest of the season and I just hope the players show just a little fight which I hope keeps us up.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

                  Bit harsh.
I pity him though, that's worse.

He's trying, I'm sure.. and can't blame him as a man.
Just out of his depth really.

C'mon now people we all know the problems were here long before Micky boy arrived. I like the man but agree he's not a very good manager.
