Thankfully that is it for the season at home, another disappointing season with our home form being the worst for years.today had a real end of season of season feel to it with both sides strolling around. I felt a draw would have been a fair result, both teams had good chances and we were handed the perfect chance to equalize with a late penalty. Why Wells was allowed to take it was anyone’s guess, his first 2 shots at goal nearly injured people in the Upper aloft, his confidence is shot and you just knew he would not score.
Some decent spells of football mixed in with 2 yard passes going astray, Cameroon had a decent game and Scowen put himself about, can’t say the effort is not there, however we urgently need a manager who can blend some promising youngsters with experienced heads, who that should be I do not know.

The supporters that go week in week out have had enough, heard loads of season ticket holders saying they will not renew next year, some will of course but in my opinion the general apathy and acceptance of failure amongst our fan base is frightening.
Just hope Penrice and his band of so called highly rated scouts have a few gems up their sleeve, approx 6-8 are required.

This board have possibly the most important managerial selection to make for many a year, get it wrong and our club could slide into oblivion.

I know a good few Season Ticket holders that are chucking it in for next season. There’s only so much of this sh it any of us can take. I don’t think there is apathy amongst our fans it’s more a sense of complete helplessness given the absolute disaster under Fernandes ownership - we are going the same was as Caterham Racing. The man is a menace and should be banned from having anything to do with any sport.

Swallow your pride and get Ollie back in if Warburton or Bowyer cant be signed up. Like Shearwood I'm not sure what experience Moore will bring to the table.

It's going to get ugly next season and any manager will get the same comments about players playing out of position, no effort, poor tactics etc.

Its Bowyer, Warburton or Olly for me in that order.

Warburton or Pearson are the stand out candidates for me. Both are proven at this level, one won’t take any s*** and the other has proven he can build a team full of youth in a show string budget and play good football.
Potentially someone like Rowett or Jackett to be considered as well but we can’t afford to take risks with Bowyer, Moore or Bircham for that matter.

I think so - don’t really know why he was in that league tbh. Can hardly imagine he had much to work with.

In general he’s had a solid enough career though and the job he done with Leicester was exceptional.

My preferred choice would be Warburton though!

Yes, some odd flashes and flourishes under Mr MaClaren but ultimately another turgid uninspiring campaign. Fingers crossed the younger lads won't be loaned out next season and we give them a good crack at showing what they do.... future is Bright!

There arent any strikers in our crop of youngsters. Right now I dont know where the goals will come from. Without any money to buy I hope there are a new free agents out there with an eye for goal or we,'ll.be down bu exams.
