Could be good but who knows. JFH on paper looked promising young manager and great pedigree as a player.
Sherwood out of management for four years. Says a lot. Mainly that no half decent team will touch him! Should learn from what happened with IH. We were also last chance saloon for SM.
Be happy to give Appleton a chance in principle. Don't want yet another has been. Either young manager in this country or foreigner.

If Appleton gets a look in then I too want to have talks for the job!Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

He has got a reputation as a very good coach within the game. Workerd miracles at Portsmouth and Oxford. He was also close to getting the head coach job at West Brom a few months ago. Bottomline:" who knows".QPR

Miracle at Portsmouth ? What miracle was that ...getting relegated ? And as for being close to getting the West Brom job, well that job is still available so clearly not good enough for them, just like he's not good enough for us.
100% not for me or indeed anyone I've spoken to !
