Kenny Jackett and Lee Bowyer have described reports linking them with the QPR manager’s job as “speculation”.

They are hardly going to say otherwise when they are both currently in jobs.

if either of them got the job they'd say the classic "once i knew qpr were interested in me my mind was made up. its a fantastic big club with a great history and fans and i knew it was the right move for me"

Do you think they have that engraved on a plaque behind the Chairman's chair, so when a new manager signs, they have to recite it?

I'd be surprised if Bowyer was interested. With the restraints on wages etc., it's taking a job with both hands tied behind your back
I must away now, I can no longer tarry

Rotherham manager Paul Warne says he has had no contact from QPR over the vacant managerial position at Loftus Road, but admits that he is flattered by speculation linking him with the job.

paul warne apparently now too, he seems interested too. my first choices are ainsworth and bowyer but warne is a close 3rd, i'd hate sherwood here tbh

No there has been no contact and my phone has a pretty good signal, but there has been no contact.

my take on it Dave is Bowyer is the new kid on the block with a growing reputation. Unless he was assured he had some scope to juggle the squad, I'd keep loyal to Charlton

Would probably turn him into the manically depressed one.
