worked wonders on a tight budget at wycombe with a rag tag backroom staff and players. would love it if he came here, hes young yet experienced, knows the club, ready to step up and would get the backing from the fans immediatly.

league 1 is very tight atm, 12th place oxford are also in as much a relegation battle as we are in the championship.
5 games ago wycome were 11th in the table but have had some tough games over the past 10 matches or so against sunderland, luton, barnsley, peterbrough and blackpool so it'd be unfair to judge them on that. they should have picked up more points recently too but thats football. the fact is though is ainsworth has done a tremendous job at wycombe just getting them up to league 1 and unlikr jfh he has years of experience managing.
wycombe are in a similar position to us really, albeit one not of their own doing. they have no money or proper facilities but have still gotten themselves up to league 1, i'd love ainsworth here and think he'd do a good job

GA is proving an effective manager, on extremely limited resources, but his style and philosophy is very much straight out of the Ian Holloway book of management.
What does it mean? It means “up em and at em”, 2 cloggers in centre midfield, and lots of route 1. A very big no thanks. They are a poor side to watch and GA is tactically lacking. I’ve watched them 10 times this season. And last!

he's had to play a style of football to suit the players he's got there but last season when he had eze there he played eze to his strengths and arguebly had a big impact on eze.
he doesn't always play terrible football but as i've said, he's had to work with what he has there.
he's managed for 7 years now which is the same length of time as rowett and longer than other options like darren moore. he's developed and came on leaps and bounds at a club that doesn't have a pot to p*ss in and unlike any of the other options we've been linked with he's someone who would immediatly have support behind him.

Why would Ainsworth or any manager want to come here? We sack managers too often to be a attractive club for a managerUnder Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO
