Now, I may be being a bit sceptical, but why has there not been any news on Paladini standing down? Nothing on the official board and only a speculative article from the bbc.

We are quick to dismiss the itk boy's rumours regarding transfers, yet everyone seems to be believing this regardless.

GP is a shrewd bloke and it wouldn't surprise me if he has fed his friends some bum info in hoping that it will hit the messageboards and calm the masses down. He knows he is under fire and the booing Tuesday would of made him realise his position is under threat. If fans think he is on his way out, they may lay off him and focus on Briatore, just what GP wants
