He is good enough, but has to play behind an often shocking defence which switches off regularly and provides opposition attack with so many chances that would not otherwise happen. At least 50% of the time, he saves the resulting shot at goal. Often his good work goes unnoticed. Frankly, I'd keep him and work with him as No 1 goalkeeper and spend whatever funds we have in strengthening the defence.

As said already, he gets little protection from his defence especially from Lynch.

Imo, it`s not about any single player, It`s more how the team lacks cohesion at the moment. Lumley is a talented keeper, but we could do with a better number 2. From time to time, he needs a game off. The defence in front of him is tired and many of them looks dessolutioned..QPR
