I was at Wycombe vs Bradford yesterday and Jack Payne, on loan from Huddersfield at Bradford, was the games outstanding player in the number 10 position.
Signed by Huddersfield in the summer before their promotion, from League 1 Southend - where he was player of the season at 21, he has not featured in the Prem and been out on loan to Blackburn and now Bradford in League 1.
Hugely impressed and higher praise I could not give- he plays in the mould of David silva. Left footed, extremely well balanced, technically gifted. It’s not often I see a player in the lower leagues and be this impressed.
Out of contract in the summer, although Huddersfield have a extra years option, he is within budget. One for Rangers to be monitoring his situation.
